Week 3 – Monday – Chest Workout

Dated: Monday, 14th February, 2011

Body Parts Trained: Chest

Training Duration: 45 minutes (Morning).
Had very short time, so had to cut down on exercises.

Training Partner: SA_Hardtarget

Total Exercises: Five

Feeling before the workout: Felt really tired, and couldn’t get up on time. My workout plan was also compromised since my partner had other plans; wanted to train Chest and/or Back, whereas I wanted to train Shoulders. However, I opted for Chest workout after mutual consent.

Workouts

Military Press
Sets: 2 sets (Warming up my shoulders)
Repetitions:          15 reps
Weight (Kg):           B.B only

Bench Press
Sets: 4 sets
Repetitions:          10 – 10 – 10 – 8
Weight (Kg):            5 – 5 – 5 – 10

Incline Presses

Repetitions:          10 – 10 – 8 – 8

Dumbbell Flys
Sets: 3 sets
Repetitions:          12 – 10 – 10
Weight (Kg):          2 – 4 – 4 Kg
Had been avoiding his workout since it puts my shoulder to test.

Close Grip Bench Presses.
Sets: 2 – 3 sets
Repetitions:          8 – 6 – 6
Weight (Kg):          5 Kg for all sets
Felt pain in my right shoulder when lifting the bar. So, my left arm had to sustain the most of the load.

What did I eat?

1 Orange (No banana available today as well :( )
500ml of Water during workout
2 Eggs after workout
2-Egg Omelet in Breakfast
1 glass of Milk

My feeling after the workout

Did not get satisfying pump in the chest, probably because the load was too low, but since I cannot handle more weight, I feel good doing this many exercises. My partner lifted more weight of course, and is getting stronger, which is good for both of us.

Measurements
My chest measures 35 inches (89 cm), and expands up to 38 inches (94 cm). Chest expansion is about 5 cm.
