MotoGP ’10 Round 2, Jerez

Round 2 of MotoGP 2010, the Grand Prix of Spain, Jerez Circuit from 30th April – 2nd May.

The Free Practice Section #1 for 125cc is about to commence. See below for the local race timings:

125cc FP1: 12:40 – 13:40

MotoGP FP1: 13:55 – 14:55

Moto2 FP1: 15:10 – 16:10

The local race local time is (GMT +2).

Other News:
– Casey Stoner who crashed out when leading the race in at Losail, hopes to challenge for the win at Round 2.
– Valentino Rossi, bruised in a motocross training accident, has not fully recovered from the shoulder injury.
– Jorge Lorenzo is hoping to improve his Jerez record. Last year he crashed out of pole position, when challenging for the podium.
– The GrandPrix of Japan, Motegi Circuit, was to be held from 23rd – 25th May, but has been postponed due to volcanic eruption in Iceland, and is now rescheduled. It will be the 14th round of the MotoGP World Championship and October 3rd has been accepted as Motegi date.
